# Dashboard

> Your home base for upcoming events, todos, and actionable alerts.

The dashboard is the first thing you see when you open Roadcase. It provides a snapshot of what is coming up, what needs attention, and what is happening across your artists.

## Dashboard widgets

The dashboard content adapts based on your role and the current state of your calendar.

### Upcoming events

A list of your next upcoming events across all artists you belong to. This gives you a quick glance at what is on the horizon without opening the full calendar.

### Todo summary

A summary of your active todos:

* Total open todos
* Overdue count
* Todos assigned to you

### Admin-only widgets

Administrators see additional widgets that surface actionable items:

| Widget | Description |
| - | - |
| **Pending guest list requests** | Guest list requests waiting for approval across all upcoming shows |
| **Availability conflicts** | Team members whose [block dates](/guides/availability-and-conflicts.md) overlap with upcoming events |
| **Pending invitations** | Team invitations that have been sent but not yet accepted |

These widgets help administrators stay on top of outstanding items without having to check each feature individually.

## Contextual actions

The dashboard may show contextual action buttons based on your current state. These quick actions let you jump directly to common tasks:

* Create a new show
* View the next upcoming show
* Check pending guest list requests

## Multi-artist dashboard

If you belong to multiple artists, the dashboard aggregates information across all of them. Events, todos, and alerts from every artist appear in a unified view. Each item is tagged with its artist name and color for easy identification.

Use the artist switcher in the sidebar to filter the dashboard to a single artist if needed.
