# Day sheets

> Create day-of schedule sheets with all the details your team needs for show day.

<Snippet file="pro-badge.mdx" />

A day sheet is the single document your band and crew need to get through show day. It combines the venue details, schedule timeline, and key contacts into one page that everyone can reference throughout the day. In Roadcase, day sheets are generated from the information you have already entered for a show.

## What a day sheet includes

Day sheets pull together information from across the show:

| Section | Source |
| - | - |
| **Show details** | Date, venue name, address, city, and state |
| **Venue contacts** | Contact names and phone numbers from the venue |
| **Schedule** | The full [show schedule](/show-operations/show-schedule.md) — load-in through curfew |
| **Notes** | Any day-of notes added to the show |
| **Artist logo** | Your uploaded logo for branding |

## Generating a day sheet

**1. Build the show schedule**

Open the show and add schedule items (load-in, soundcheck, doors, sets, curfew, etc.) in the **Schedule** tab.

**2. Ensure venue details are complete**

Make sure the venue has an address and any relevant contacts. This information appears on the day sheet automatically.

**3. Export the day sheet**

Click **Export PDF** on the schedule tab to generate a formatted, printable day sheet.

## How teams use day sheets

Day sheets are the backbone of day-of communication on tour. Common uses include:

* **Print and distribute** — Hand copies to every band member and crew at the start of the day
* **Post at the venue** — Tape a copy in the green room so everyone can check the timeline
* **Share digitally** — Send the PDF to your group chat so the team has it on their phones
* **Venue coordination** — Give a copy to the venue production manager so both sides are aligned on the schedule

> [!TIP]
>
> Build your show schedule as early as possible during the advance process. The more complete your schedule is before show day, the more useful your day sheet will be.

## Keeping day sheets accurate

Since the day sheet is generated from your show data, updating the schedule or venue details in Roadcase and re-exporting gives you an updated day sheet instantly. If timing changes on show day, update the schedule in the app and generate a fresh PDF.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Day sheets are a snapshot at the time of export. If you change the schedule after exporting, generate a new day sheet to get the latest information.
